Former “The Voice” contestant, Mandi Castillo delivers her self-titled EP, “Mandi Castillo”
Mandi Castillo is popularly recognized as a Latin American singer and songwriter. She came to the limelight after her four-chair turn blind audition for “The Voice-Season 18.” She was the person who nearly knocked Thunderstorm out the previous round, and she proved that she’s a strong contender for the season. She was on “Team Legend,” and she’s held her position amongst the women in the competition. Mandi Castillo performed “Asi Fue” during her Blind Audition, “Senorita” for her Battle Round, and “Stand By Me” for the Knockout Round.
24-year-old Mandi Castillo hails from San Antonio, Texas, and currently lives in Carlsbad, California. She was 19 when she packed her bags and moved to California to pursue her dream. It was troublesome for Mandi to be so far from family, especially in March 2019 her mom needed a new kidney. Mandi wasn’t a match but donated her kidney to someone else to help her mom get one quicker. Now with her mom, healthy Mandi pushes harder than ever to make her dream a reality.
