International Artist, Jippie6 teams up with local artists, Young Slime and Benjii on his debut track, “Round Three”
International Hip-Hop artist, Jippie6 born as Kalle Andreasson in Stockholm, Sweden is making noise on the other side of the map. Currently, the 17-year-old artist/producer is living his best life outside of Gothenburg. As the ultimate professional, he located there because it would be convenient to do business with fellow artists and friends. Although Jippie6 has been in the industry as an artist for two months, he has been producing other artists for a long time.
Jippie6’s music is a mixture of Hip-Hop, Pop and Soul. His current singles, “Two Names” and “Round Three” are making waves on digital platforms with over 12,000 streams on Spotify. On Youtube, the audio video of “Round Three” has accumulated over 51,000 views since January 3rd. of this year.
Jippie6’s relationship with other artists is a blessing these days. He met Young Slime and Benjji on his way to the studio. Nyasia Chane’l grew up in the small town of Fallsburg in the Catskills region of Upstate New York. Known then as Nyasia Harris she began to express herself creatively at an early age. Through the years she was always singing, dazzling both parishioners in the pews at church and her classmates in the halls of her high school.
Inspired by Lil Wayne and his ode to the early 2000s with “Uproar’ sampling the G-Dep smash hit “Special Delivery”, Nyasia decided for her version to add elements of Ashanti’s smash hit “Happy” which was a huge hit during that era. “Her-Roar” is an ode to one of Nyasia’s idols Ashanti a Hip-Hop Soul icon. Dwayne “Muffla” Simon is one of the original pioneers of hip hop. In fact, Muffla” is the man responsible for lacing hip-hop with his special sauce by writing, producing and arranging super hits for artists such as LL Cool J, Run DMC, and Ice Cube. As one of the originators behind the L.A. Posse, he was one of the main ingredients of a multi-platinum American hip hop record production team.
He ‘retired’ from the music industry for a while and began coaching high school football in the Antelope Valley (outside of Los Angeles.) A true champ in all his endeavors, last year he led the High Desert Phoenix Semi-Pro Football Team, located in Antelope Valley/High Desert to a 2017 PCFC Championship as their General Manager.
His production company, Covert Entertainment Soundwork, marks his foray back into the music business. The recently released “Suspicious Packages 2” is his first production album in 20 years! “Suspicious Packages” returns west coast hip hop to its original funk inspired origins.
