[NEW MUSIC] WYNTER STARR – ” WYNTER” | @thewynterstarr

Atlanta Native, Wynter Starr  releases her debut album, “Wynter”

Newly found ATL native, Wynter Starr is a star in the making. She moved from a small town in North Carolina to Atlanta to pursue her dreams of being a singer. Wynter isn’t afraid to work when it comes to her music.

Wynter Starr’s new EP is filled with a mixture of erotica and bedroom confessions. The first track “Wynter”  would remind you of a modern day ‘Donna Summer’ track with the intense moaning and lyrics. The tracks “Wynter” and “Blanket” are in radio rotation and gaining traction.

You can listen to the EP on Spotify, iTunes and all platforms. We won’t give away the rest, we’d like for you to experience the EP for yourself. So grab yourself a glass of (pick your poison), lower the lights and enjoy the aura.

Be sure to follow Wynter Starr, to stay up to date with her journey in music.

[NEW MUSIC] URBAN FU$E – “RUNAWAY” | @URBANFUSEMUSIC

The Urban Fu$e Collective releases a new project, “Runaway”

The members of Urban Fu$e hail from all over the world and are truly a reflection of diverse cultures and different approaches to music fused into one single sound. A strong dance beat is the hallmark of UF no matter the genre: Hip Hop / Rap, Dance Hall, V-Pop, Afro, Latin, UF does it all!

Why do they call themselves Urban Fu$e?

They chose the name because of the multicultural fusion of their music, but also because they consider themselves to be fuses: they will spark the musical revolution that is to come. The members of Urban Fu$e come from Yaounde, Cameroon, Lagos, Nigeria; Freeport, Bahamas; Nashville, Tennessee; San Francisco Bay Area, California; London, England, and Vietnam. Their new single “Runaway,” is a breath of musical fresh air, as their intriguing sound is like no other on the scene.

Quote from Suzanna Lam, founder of Urban Fu$e:
“I was inspired by a true story I saw on Youtube that happened back in the ’60s or ’70s in which a beautiful actress was caught cheating on her husband and caused quite a scandal, especially for the guy who was a well-known songwriter in the entertainment industry. In the true story the guy (the husband) was broken-hearted, cried, pleaded to her in public to come back to him with the kids and he would forgive her but she never did probably too embarrassed. There are well-known documented youth suicides as a result of social media bullies. The cause of suicide is due to the embarrassment caused by these online bullies. We intentionally have a male vocalist on the track because we feel crying is a very natural process when someone is hurt physically and emotionally so it doesn’t matter if you’re a boy or a girl, you have the ability to cry and that’s OK, not a taboo as in “boys don’t cry” kind of attitude that most people believe. Hopefully, through this song boys are more accepted to cry because it’s not healthy to hold things back inside and boys pretend to be strong.

Crying is just a way for the body to re-balance the chemicals in the body when it goes through an emotional shock so there is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about it. That’s why we had female rapper coming on the track in verse three to tell him just that message.

In the midst of all the distractions of life, he still was able to have freestyle battles with his homeboys. This encouragement leads him to become more serious about recording music now he’s ready to take off.

ERVIN MITCHELL AND REGGIE RANSOM – “DOUBLE DRAGON”|@realervmitchell

Ervin Mitchell and Reggie Ransom are set to release their highly anticipated “DOUBLE DRAGON” EP

Atlanta-based rapper Ervin Mitchell teamed up with his childhood friend, Reggie Ransom to put together an imaginative lyrical exhibition for the ages. The fans have anticipated this union for some time now and the wait is now over.

Ervin Mitchell Ervin Mitchell is a songwriter and rap artist from Memphis, Tennessee and currently based out of the hotbed of urban culture: Atlanta, GA. He has mastered his live stage show through barraging the ATL indie rap scene with shows including everything from opening for OG Maco, to high energy romps at iconic venues like The Masquerade. Ervin internalizes the philosophy that the job of a true artist is to convey meaningful messages and emotions in the simplest, most easily digestible way. Ervin is all about the power of dichotomy and often juxtaposes meaningful deep lyrics with light-hearted tropes a la Kanye West or Lil Wayne. He has built a strong organic social media presence and continues to grow a global fanbase with his lyrical wordplay and genre-bending collaborations.
Reggie Ran$om
Reggie Ran$om is an artist Influenced by the likes of Lil Wayne, Ludacris, and J. Cole. The Memphis native grew up in a Motown Records influenced household, whose both mother and father listened to a variety of different music ranging from the gritty sound of Blues to the upbeat swing of Jazz and Funk. As teenagers in 2009, Ervin Mitchell and Reggie RanSom along with A.T. started their very own independent record label – School Boyz Entertainment (SBE). Through performing and rapping for a long time prior, Reggie Ran$om broke on to the independent scene  with his debut “Higher Education.” In 2014, his debut LP, Higher Education, was released and based on the concept of the expectations and reality of attending an institution of higher learning. Also, it includes his disbelief of the idea that you have to attend college in order to succeed or obtain a greater level of knowledge.“F.W.M”, one of the three singles released from the LP, is an upbeat track that expresses Ransom’s hunger for attention from fans, A&R’s, and other emcees who are sleeping on his talent. After somewhat of a hiatus, he gains a newfound distribution partnership with Power Entertainment LLC. The future is looking bright for the young MC who often forces witty flow, and a particular wordplay down the throats of anyone prepared to listen. You can’t cheat the geek!

The ‘s 7-song EP is NOW available for pre-save at bit.ly/DoubleDragonPreSave and find it on all streaming platforms worldwide, February 22nd.
